Non, un propriétaire (bailleur) ne peut plus s'assurer contre les impayés de loyers avec la garantie des risques locatifs (GRL).

La garantie Visale la remplace. Il s'agit d'une caution accordée au locataire par Action logement. Lorsque le locataire ne parvient pas à payer son loyer ou ses charges, Action Logement avance les sommes au propriétaire. Action logement se fait ensuite rembourser par le locataire.
