Non, vous ne pouvez plus ouvrir un plan d'épargne populaire (PEP) aujourd'hui.

Ce produit d'épargne n'est plus commercialisé depuis le 25 septembre 2003.

Les conditions de fonctionnement des PEP ouverts avant cette date restent valables.

Si vous avez un PEP ouvert avant le 25 septembre 2003 :

  • Vous pouvez continuer à effectuer des versements dans la limite du plafond légal de 92 000 €.
  • Vous pouvez aussi continuer à bénéficier des avantages fiscaux du PEP (exonération d'impôt sur le revenu pour le capital et la rente viagère après une certaine durée).

Le PEP est un produit d'épargne qui permettait de placer à long terme des fonds dans le but de percevoir des intérêts et de bénéficier d'avantages fiscaux.

Les fonds pouvaient être restitués sous forme de capital ou de rente viagère.
