Le crédit à la consommation concerne les opérations autres que celles liées à l'immobilier. Il permet d'acheter des biens de consommation (meubles, électroménager...) ou d'avoir à disposition de la trésorerie. Le montant des crédits est compris entre 200 € et 75 000 €, et la durée de remboursement est supérieure à 3 mois. Plusieurs formes de crédit à la consommation existent comme par exemple le prêt personnel ou le crédit revolving (renouvelable).
